Wendy Miller

FROSTBURG- Wendy Beth (Chase) Miller, 49, of Frostburg went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at home. Born March 19, 1968 in Bethesda, she was the daughter of Thomann Wilson and the late R. Thomas Chase. She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Richard F. Chase and Doris M. Chase, and maternal grandparents, Thomas M. Wilson and Mary Margaret Wilson. Wendy attended the Second Baptist Church in Keyser. She held a master’s degree in nursing and was a nursing instructor at Allegany College of Maryland. She also worked at the Golden Living Center in the geriatric nursing department. Wendy was noted for her beautiful voice. She was the most beautiful woman inside and out and loved everybody and everybody loved her. Wendy had a strong faith in God and spoke to Him daily. Wendy is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Gregory Miller, her mother Thomann Wilson of Cumberland, her step-children, Jesse Miller and wife Amanda of Virginia; Christopher Miller and wife Jenna of Frostburg; Cody Miller and special friend Jess of Frostburg; April Miller of LaVale; step-grandchildren, Kami, Caitlin, Luke, Caleb, Brielle, Wyatt, her sister, Raequel Chase of Hagerstown, her aunt Crystal Bachant, her niece, Kira Yeakey, and her nephews, Aidan George and Tyson Chase. Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Frostburg Church of the Nazarene, 150 Center Street, Frostburg at 1 p.m. with Pastor Sam Biser officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Pallbearers will be Gregory Miller, Jesse Miller, Christopher Miller, Cody Miller, Jess Smith, and Creade Brodie. Interment will be on the family farm. The family would like to thank the ladies at the Western Maryland Cancer Center.
