FROSTBURG- Raymond Perry Llewellyn, 93, of Frostburg passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at UPMC at Western Maryland. Born April 10, 1927 in Barton he was the son of the late Albertus P. and Ethel (Jones) Llewellyn. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Jean (Beeman) Llewellyn, brothers, Albertus J. Llewellyn and Gerald Llewellyn and sister, Eleanor (Llewellyn) Poole, and sister-in-law Helen (Beeman) Blassingame. Raymond was a member of the Frostburg United Methodist Church and retired from ABL. He was a member of American Legion Farrady Post #24, and Maplehurst Country Club. Raymond served in WWll on the Queen Mary, he was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by son, Steve Llewellyn of LaVale and daughter, Barbara (Llewellyn) Stevens and husband Ken, Jr., of Frostburg; grandchildren Melissa (Stevens) Nash husband Kenny; and Eric Stevens; and sister, Mary Lou (Llewellyn) Preston and husband Dale. Brother-in-law Don Beeman and wife Claudia. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 11:00 to 1:00 with a funeral service following at 1:00 with Pastor Kyle Durbin officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. American Legion Farrady Post #24 will accord military honors at the graveside.
