Paul Willison

FROSTBURG- Paul Charles Willison,85, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Born October 5, 1935 in Eckhart, he was the son of the late Thomas E. and Edith (Beltz) Willison. He is preceded in death by brothers, William B. Willison, Bob Willison, and Jim Willison; sisters Betty Shannon, and Doris Rosenberger. Paul was the last surviving member of his family. Paul had worked at Tri State Roofing. He was a member of Local 34 and a member of Eckhart Baptist Church. Paul loved to hunt and ride his 4- wheeler. He is survived by his wife, Esther Joann Willison, sons, Michael Willison of Frostburg; Jack Willison and wife Sharon of Klondike; and Dan Willison of SC; daughter, Tammy Weber and boyfriend, Greg Rotruck of Cumberland. Grandchildren, Andrea Brode and husband Todd, John Willison and mate, Crystal, Brandi Willison and boyfriend, Jason Baumann, Jake Weber, Pat Weber, and Samantha Weber, great grandchildren, Jenio Willison, Cristo Willison, and Lilli Weber, sister in law, Beatrice Willison, and an abundance of relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Matthew D. Eichhorn officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UPMC Western Maryland Home Hospice, 1050 W. Industrial Blvd. Suite 19, Cumberland, MD 21502 or to the Eckhart Baptist Church, 17104 Old National Pike SW, Frostburg, MD 21532 Interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery.
