Paul W. Jenkins

Paul William Jenkins,97, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the Goodwill Mennonite Home.

Born in Grantsville on August 7, 1925, he was the son of the late Gorman G. and Grace P. (Broadwater) Jenkins. He is preceded in death by his wife Alice Jenkins and step-son Lloyd Uphold. Paul was the last surviving member of his family.

Paul  retired from Potomac Edison. He served his country in the U.S. Navy in the 3^rd Marine Division. Paul was also a member of Salem United Church of Christ, the church consistory, and the American Legion Farrady Post 24.

He is survived by sons, Richard Jenkins (Kathleen), Kevin Jenkins (Cheryl), Michael Jenkins (Maria), daughter Paula Jenkins. and stepson, Clifford Uphold. Also, five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren and step- great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Diane Smith officiating.

 Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

American Legion Farrady Post 24 will accord military honors at the cemetery.
