Mary Stott

OLDTOWN- Mary Agnes (Bittner)Stott, 79, of Oldtown passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her home. Born December 16, 1939 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Bittner and Iola V. (Johnson) Bittner. She is preceded in death by her husband Layton Stott, Sr. and brothers Harold and Jarold Bittner. Mary was a graduate of Beall High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, cross stitching and crocheting. She also loved bingo and gardening. She is survived by her children Layton Stott, Jr. and wife Miriam, Cheryl Humbertson and husband Willard, Russell Stott and wife Diana, Melissa Stott, Wade Stott and wife Shannon, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving, sisters, Darlene Lavin and Carol Ann Klink. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted after the visitation at 7 p.m. with Pastor Doug Seaman.
