Lillian Earle

FROSTBURG-Lillian May Earle,76, of Frostburg passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Mountain City Rehab. Born January 15, 1944 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Sidney W. Earle, Sr and Helen V. (Kilgour) Earle. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Sidney W. Earle, Jr. Lillian graduated from the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from the University of Maryland and received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the Catholic University of America. She received her Doctorate degree in Psychology from WVU. Lillian worked at WMHS as a Psychologist. She was the Director of Nursing at the Finan Center and she taught Psychology at Potomac State College and Nursing at WVU. Lillian also served her country in the Nursing Corp. in the U.S. Army. She is survived by sisters, Charlene Earle of Frostburg; and Helen Holmes and husband Sam of Laurel, MD, Also, surviving are a number of nieces and nephews and grand- nieces. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday,  November 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.  Chris Skidmore officiating.
