Leolia "Chick" Baer

ECKHART- Leolia “Chick” Ramona (Corrigan) Baer,95 passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Mountain City Center. Born on January 8, 1927 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Leo David and Ida (McKenzie) Corrigan. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Baer, and sisters, Doris Cardiff and Helen Bittner.

She was a homemaker and had worked at the Berkowitz sewing factory.

Leolia is survived by daughter, Carla Baer of Frostburg; son, David Baer of Lindon, VA; and granddaughter, Samantha Grindle and husband, Drew, great- granddaughters Adalynn, Raelynn, and Aubree Grindle.

According to Leolia’s wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be at a later date.
