Joseph McGuire III

FROSTBURG- Joseph James McGuire III, 57, of Frostburg passed away at his home on Friday, June 2, 2017. Joseph was born on October 24, 1959 in Frostburg. He was the son of Cecilia Jane (Glass) Twist and the late Joseph McGuire, Jr. He is also preceded in death by his sister Tammy Woodcock. He worked as a welder for Marshall Ruby and Sons and was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish at St. Michael. He is survived by his mother Cecilia Jane (Glass) Twist, his son Joseph McGuire IV of Canton, OH; his daughters, Christina Fitzpatrick of Cumberland; and Candice McGuire of Eckhart; several grandchildren, his brothers, John McGuire of Ridgeley; Thomas Smith, Jr. of Richmond, VA; and his sister Mary Leighty and husband Terry of Mt. Washington, KY. A memorial service will be held at the Sowers Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Butch Wright officiating.
