Helen Passarell

CUMBERLAND- Helen Ruth (Tallman) Passarell 82 passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 surrounded by her family. Born March 11, 1938 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Marge (Messenger) Tallman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael F. Passarell, son, Rick Passarell, grandsons, Shane Crawford and Nicholas Muir, brother Jimmy Tallman and sister Doris Tallman. Helen was a proud homemaker and a stay at home mom. She enjoyed crocheting and her dog, Pupy and most of all she enjoyed being with her family. She is survived by daughters, Tonya Passarell, Cresaptown; Theresa Lawhorne and husband Robert, Cumberland; grandchildren, Craig Muir, Vanessa Fabbri, Tiffany and Brittany Sprouse, and Rick Passarell, Jr; great-grandchildren, Angela Muir, Olivia and Maddison Fabbri, and multiple others. Also, brother, Floyd Tallman. “Our mother was truly a caring and loving soul. What made her smile was when everyone was happy and taken care of. She really was the one who would give you the last piece of pie even though she looked forward to that desert for herself.” In accordance with our mother’s wishes, we will be celebrating her life on October 24th, 6-9 p.m. at 900 Eastgate Court, Cumberland, MD 21502.
