Glenn Jacob Loar, Jr.

Loartown- Glenn Jacob Loar Jr. ,67, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Born May 12, 1956 in Frostburg he was the son of the late Glenn J. Sr. and Shirley May (Lewis) Loar.

Glenn had worked construction and at the Mt. Storm Power Plant. He was a graduate of Beall High School. Glenn was also in the U.S. Army Reserve.

He is survived by his wife Debra, son, Tony Spiker (Jen), daughter, Chrissie Spiker (Jesse Whiteman), grandchildren Conner, Kayley, Jesse, Colton, Glenna, Elizabeth, Celeste, Mallory, Kayla, Katie, Biggy (David), Muffin (Hayley), great grandchildren, Paisley, and one of the way, step great-grandchildren, Danny, Addison, Demi, Daxton, Kian, and Kali.  Also, sister Linda Crosten (Gary).

Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 to 1 p.m. with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.

Donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray the cost.
