Elaine Twigg

MEYERSDALE- Elaine W. (Scott) Twigg,82, of Meyersdale passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at In Touch Hospice in Somerset. Elaine was born in Frostburg to the late George E. Scott and Pauline (Williams) Scott. She is preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Twigg in 2014. Elaine was a homemaker and a graduate of Beall High School Class of 1953. She was a member of the Notables Club and the NRA. She is survived by her brother George Scott and wife Betty of Frostburg; and her sister Sylvia Twigg of Frostburg. Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kyle Durbin officiating. Inurnment will be at the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11 a.m.
