Eileen Coleman Patterson,91, of Frostburg, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Sterling Care Frostburg Village Nursing Home. Born August 8, 1929 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the Late Harry Joseph Coleman and Bertha Moore Coleman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Walter “Dubb” Patterson, and John Gerald “Sonny” Workman, her very special companion for 15 years, as well as her two brothers Manuel Coleman and Donald Coleman, and her sister Ursula Mayhugh. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Eileen was a 1947 graduate of Beall High School. She had worked at Carpenter’s Egg Plant in Frostburg, and she retired from the Michael Burkowitz Sewing Factory in Grahamtown. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church, Midlothian where she especially liked helping in the kitchen with church dinners. She also loved attending trivia night with her grandson TJ, and she enjoyed being part of the church book club which she named Supper with a Side of Books. Eileen is survived by her two sons Dennis W. Patterson (Diane), William D. Patterson (Barbara), and two daughters Pamela A. Bittner (Dwayne) and Kristine E. Logsdon (Todd); nine grandchildren Jill Sibley (Mace), Amy Patterson (Lisa), Ryan Patterson (Whitney), Justin Patterson (Laura), Sarah O’Neal (John), Jeremy Bittner, Todd Logsdon (Nikki), Ashley Logsdon, and Jason Logsdon (Jackie); seven great grandchildren Luke, Eli, Jenna, Max, Ben, Lincoln and Brooks as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Sterling Care for their excellent care, concern and attention they gave Mom during her stay there.
