FROSTBURG- Craig William Carbaugh,51, of Frostburg passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at UPMC Western Maryland due to complications of Covid. Born March 31, 1970, in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the son of Charles Carbaugh and the late Bonita (O’Neil) Carbaugh.
He is survived by his wife Kimberly Carbaugh, children, Megan Carbaugh of Frostburg, Kaitlin Carbaugh of Cumberland, Brandon Carbaugh and Emily Carbaugh of Frostburg. Also, his grandchildren, Atticus Casey, Graysen Carbaugh, Kinsley Carbaugh, Raelynne Carbaugh, Avayah Carbaugh, and Layla Bible.
Craig repo cars, he had a landscape company where he cut grass, worked for Deloitte and Skid Steer Cabs, and worked from home. He also enjoyed playing poker at Rocky Gap Casino and playing cards with his friends at Blanks. Craig loved watching the Baltimore Ravens, NASCAR, and wrestling. Craig loved taking family vacations to Ocean City, Maryland and catching some rays at the Frostburg Pool. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, grand puppies, and grand kittens.
Craig is the kind of person you could count on for anything. He was always there for his family and was a friend to lend a helping hand. Craig will be greatly missed by many.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Jeffries officiating.
