FROSTBURG-Charles "Charlie" Bonser, Jr., 72, of Frostburg passed away after a brief illness on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Charlie was born on May 23, 1943 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Charles E. Bonser, Sr. and E. Gay (Bailey) Bonser. He was Baptist by faith and a retired pipe fitter. Charlie was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters #489 Cumberland, a 50 year member of the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters. He was also a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 119 of Mobile, Alabama, Midland Sportsman Club, Salisbury Sons of the American Legion, and a Lifetime member of the N.R.A. He is survived by his soul mate and the love of his life, Mary Jane (Fair) Bonser and their dogs, Bubba, and Penny. In accordance with Charlie's wishes, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Laurel Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jim Jeffries officiating. There will be a reception at Devlin's Pub, Midland following the service. Mary Jane would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for the excellent care they took of Charlie and also, thanks to friends and family for their support.
